A Digital News Reporter at Sky News Australia. Preston produces written content for Sky News' digital platforms, writing news stories in a fast-paced 24/7 newsroom environment.
He graduated from Western Sydney University studying a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism.
Preston has gained extensive journalistic practices with editing, interviewing, producing, reporting and writing. He has worked with The Koori Mail, a national Australian Indigenous newspaper based in Lismore, NSW, social media platform the Mock Sports, ABC News, Sydney Roosters, and Channel Nine.
Communicating, writing, reporting, public speaking, editing, producing, and interviewing are skills Preston has gained over the years, and looks to continue to build on his skills into the future.

About Preston
A student at Western Sydney University, in his final years of studying a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism. Preston is determined to tell stories that don't get the light of day. Proudly being born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Preston is proud to tell stories whether that be sports, community or culture.

Preston has a fine eye for talking sport. Growing up playing every sport in the book, whether that be for his school or on the weekend. He was proud to play Rugby League for the Winston Hills Tigers, Aussie Rules Football for the Baulkham Hills Hawks, Soccer for the Pendle Hill Tigers and Cricket for the Winston Hills Cricket Club.
Preston has gained extensive experience with editing, interviewing, and writing. He has published with The Koori Mail, a National Australian Indigenous newspaper based in Lismore, NSW and the ABC. Notably, Preston has interviewed Australian women’s cricketer Ashleigh Gardner, Sydney Roosters player Angus Crichton and rising women’s players in the NRLW scene.
Preston is currently writing articles for a social-media platform, The Mock Sports. The articles are sport based specifically on Rugby league, Aussie Rules Football, and Horse Racing.
Communicating, writing, public speaking, research, editing and interviewing are skills I have gained over the years, and I continue to build on them into the future.
