Rugby League suburban grounds debate

Preston Potts and Riley Birt dive into the Rugby League suburban grounds debate.

Ty Liddiard, a community leader and former local junior, insists the governments $150 million pledge to upgrade Penrith stadium is great knowing it will only improve and strengthen the connection in Penrith. Liddiard isn't for commercialised grounds such as Accor stadium, as he feels huge stadiums takes away the connection of the community.

Shane Fornari, a Wests Tigers fan and Leichhardt oval faithful, isn't happy with the state's decision to not fund the tiger's heartland. Fornari insists Leichhardt is the 8th wonder of the world, with the atmosphere always electric, he would love to see the footy continuing at the ground.
